2. Print a copy of the first page of the syllabus. Print your name at the top, sign it, and bring it to class.
3. Get  Writing about Literature and browse the Table of Contents so that you know what is in it.  This 66-page MS Word document is a basic review of ENL 111 concepts plus some specific concepts and guidelines for papers for this course. [You are welcome to print this and keep it in a 3-ring notebook, or you can just keep and use an electronic copy.]

4. Watch the YouTube video on Basic Cornell Notes, by Sophia Caramagno (9:11) 
5. Look at the format I want for Cornell Notes.
