I returned home from camp last week to a wonderful surprise. As I approached the front door of our house, I heard what soundedlike a whining puppy. Sure enough, as soon as I opened the door, out bounded a lively ball of gray fur. Mom and Dad had given mea puppy as a birthday present! You know how long I've wanted apet, so you can imagine my excitement.

I named the puppy Jake, and I'm just starting to train him. I'll let you know how it goes!
