Aluminum is an abundant metal that has many uses. It comes from Bauxite which contains many substances as well as aluminum. Workmen extract these other substances By grinding the Bauxite. They then put the Bauxite in pressure tanks and the other substances form a mass. Using filters they remove the mass leaving only a liquid. After putting the liquid through many other processes it at last Becomes a chemical. This chemical is a powdery, white substance called alumina. Alumina is a mixture of Aluminum and oxygen, which is later separated by electricity that produces a metal. This metal is light in weight and has a bright silvery luster. This metal comes in many different forms, one of them being aluminum, which is used in many different ways.
