Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many uses (3). It comes from (4) an ore (5) called bauxite. Bauxite has the appearance of clay (6) and it contains aluminum (7), as well as many (8) other substances (9).
The substances present in bauxite must be extracted (10) by following a process. The workmen must first grind (11) the bauxite, which is then placed (12) in pressure (13) tanks. After being placed in pressure tanks, the substances form a mass (14). This mass is then removed (15) using filters (16), which allows a liquid to remain (17). This liquid is put through several processes (18), which finally yields a white (21), powdery (20) chemical (19). The chemical mixture (23) remaining is alumina (22), which contains aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). The aluminum and oxygen are separated (26) using electricity (27). This process produces a light (29) and bright (31) silver (32) metal (28). This metal is available in many different forms (33).
