     Aluminum is an abundent metal with many uses. It comes from a clay like ore called bauxite. It contains other substances along with Aluminum. Workmen extract the substances by grinding it, place in tanks until masses form. The masses are removed by filters. Alumina, a white powdery substance that contains Aluminum and oxygen. By using electricity workmen can seperate the two chemicals. The result is a bright silvery luster that comes in many forms.
