     Aluminum is an abundant metal for which there are many uses. Bauxite is an ore which contains aluminum. Bauxite contains several other substances which workmen extract from the ore. The bauxite is grinded and put in pressuized tanks. The other substances form a mass which is removed and put through filters. All that remains is a liquid that will be sent through several other processes and will yield a chemical. The chemical an alumia white, powdery substance. It is a mixture of aluminum and oxygen which is then seperated by electricity. The final product is a light, lustery metal that has a bright, silvery finish
