Aluminum is an abundant metal that has many uses. It comes from Bauxite, an ore that looks like clay. Bauxite contains Aluminum as well as several other substances. Workmen extract those other substances from the bauxite. The Bauxite is grinded then put into tanks. The other substances are pressurized into a mass. The mass is removed with the use of filters until a liquid remains. It is put through several other process until it yields a chemical. The chemical is a white powder that is called alumina. Alumina is a mixture of Aluminum and oxygen. Workmen separate the aluminum from the oxygen with the use of electricity. They finally produce a metal. The metal is light, bright, and has luster that is silvery. This metal comes in many forms.
