Aluminum is a abundant metal that has many uses. Aluminum comes from a clay like ore called Bauxite. Bauxite contains several other substances that workers must extract. To remove the Aluminum the workes put the Bauxite in Pressured tanks. The other substances form a mass that can be filtered out Leaving only a Liquid. The Liquid must then go through several other processes that produce a white, powdery, chemical called Alumina. Alumina is made up of Aluminum and oxygen. Workers use electricity to seperate the Aluminum and oxygen. The final result is a light silvery metal that comes in many forms.
