Aluminum is a metal that is abundant, has many uses, and it comes from bauxite. Bauxite is an ore that looks like clay and contains aluminum as well as several other substances from bauxite. They grind the bauxite and put it into tanks, which are pressurized. The substances in the tank form a mass, and after the mass forms they use filters to empty the tank. A liquid remains now, and after several other processes it finally yields a chemical.
The chemical is a white powder that is a mixture of alumina containing aluminum and oxygen. Workmen seperate the aluminum from the oxygen, and after using electricity they produce the metal. The aluminum is light with a luster that is bright and silvery. Now the metal can be made into many forms.
