Aluminum is a very distinct (1) metal (1). It is abundant (2) and has many uses (3). Aluminum comes from (4) an ore (5) called Bauxite. This ore has the appearance of clay (6). Bauxite also contains other substances (8) which are not needed to produce aluminum (2). These substances must be removed (10?). Workmen seperate them by grinding (11) the ore. After grinding (3) the mix is put (12) into pressure (13) tanks where the unused substances are removed (15). A liquid remains (17) in the tank which is extracted by using filters (16). This liquid then goes through several other processes (18) until a white (21), powdery (20) chemical is yielded (19). The chemical produced is alumina (22). It is a mixture (23) which contains aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). The final product of this  process is a metal (28). The metal called alumina (4) has a bright (31), silvery (32) luster (30). It is also a light (29) metal. The metal can be found in many forms (33) and is very useful (5)
