Aluminum is a metal (1) that is abundant (2) and has many uses (3). It comes from bauxite (4). Bauxite is an ore (5) that looks like clay (6) and contains aluminum (7) along with several (8) other substances (9). Workmen extract these other substances from the bauxite (10), and then (1) grind (11) bauxite and put it (12) in tanks with pressure (13). The other substances form a mass (14). They use filters (16) to remove (15) mass and a liquid remains (17). They put it through several other processes (18) and it finally yields a chemical (19). The chemical is white (21) powdery (20) and is alumina (22). Its a mixture (23) that contains aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). Workmen use electricity (27) to seperate aluminum from oxygen (26) to produce metal (28). The metal is silvery (32), has bright (31) luster (30), is light (29) and comes in many forms (33).
