Aluminum is a metal that is abundant which has many uses. It comes from a ore called Bauxite which looks like clay. Bauxite not only contains aluminum, but many other substances. Workmen try to get rid of the other substances by grinding it, and then putting the Bauxite into pressure tanks which makes a mass which is removed. Then they use filters till a liquid remains. Next they put it through several more processes. Finally a white powdery chemical appears that is alumina. The mixture contains aluminum and oxygen that needs to be separated. The workmen use electricity to produce a metal that is light, bright, silvery and luster. Aluminum comes in many forms.
