Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many uses (3). It comes from (4) an ore (5) called Bauxite that looks like clay (6). Bauxite contains aluminum (7) and several (8) other substances (9). Workmen extract these other substances from the bauxite (10) by grinding (11). They put the bauxite (12) in pressurized (13) tanks which causes (1) the other substances to form a mass (14). They use filters (16) to then remove (15) the mass. A liquid is all that remains (17). The bauxite is then put through several other processes (18). In the end, a white (21), powdery (20) chemical is formed (19) called alumina (22). Alumina is a mixture (23) of Aluminum (24) and Oxygen (25). Workmen then use electricity (27) to separate the Al and O2 (26). Finally, a light (29), silvery (32), bright (31) metal is produced (28). This metal comes in many forms (33).
