Aluminum is a very abundant metal that has many uses. It comes from a clay looking ore called Bauxite. Bauxite not only contains aluminum, but many other substances. The worknam have to extract these substance in order to make the Aluminum. They first grind the Bauxite, then they put it in pressurized tanks. The other substances form a mass together and they remove them. All that remains is a liquid that has to go through several other processes. It finally yields a powdery white chemical called Alumina. It is a mixture that contains Aluminum and oxygen. Workmen use electricity to seperate the Aluminum from the Oxygen. Now the workman have produced a light metal with a bright silvery luster. This metal is called Aluminum and it comes in many different forms.
