Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many uses (3). It comes from (4) bauxite which is an ore (5) that looks like clay (6) Bauxite contains aluminum (7) and several (8) other substances (9) which workmen extract from the bauxite (10). They grind (11) the bauxite and put it (12) into pressurized (13) tanks. The other substances for mass (14) that is removed (15) with filters (16) untill only a liquid remains (17). They put it through several other processes (18) until it finally yields (19) a white (21) powdery (20) chemical. The chemical is called alumina (22) which is a mixture (23) of aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). Workmen use electricity (27) to seperate the aluminum from the oxygen (26). They finally produce a light (29) metal (28) that has a bright (31) silvery (32) luster (30). The metal comes in many forms (33).
