     \-\[LNDO"Keep your boasting*GerDO02 [RAVFtill you've beaten,"]] answered the Tortoise. \-\"Shall we race?"
     \-\So a course was fixed=PV \C\and a start was made.=PV  \-\The Hare darted almost {out of sight} {at once,} but soon stopped=CV and, to show*INFAV07 his contempt {for the Tortoise,} lay down=CV to have*INFAV04 a nap.  \-\The Tortoise plodded on and plodded=CV on, \C\and [LAVFwhen the Hare awoke {from his nap,}] he saw the Tortoise just {near the winning-post} and could not run up=CV {in time}to save*INFAJ04 the race.  \-\Then said the Tortoise:
