Be sure that you underline the entire verb phrase.

Directions: Underline verbs twice, their subjects once, and label complements ("PA," "PN," "IO," or "DO").
 

1. This castle is enchanted.

2. These must be collected by sunset.

3. So he was turned to stone.

4. Upon it was written the second task.

5. Before the enchantment can be broken,  three tasks must be performed.
