1. Underline every subject once and every verb twice.
2. Write “PA” over every predicate adjective .

4. Tomorrow we shall be gay and happy.

5. The people of New England are frugal and industrious.

6. Our baby is roguish, winsome, and pretty.

7. The prince was young and charming.

8. The poor beggar’s footstep is lagging and weary.

9. Always be careful of the feelings of others.

10. The day is long and dark and dreary.
