     Note that, by their very nature, "Tom Swifties" involve the alternative explanations of clauses as direct objects, or interjections

1. I can't march any more [#1]! [Inj the soldier called haltingly]. |

3. I've never had a car accident (DO), [Inj said Tom recklessly]. |

4. The door's ajar, [Inj said Tom openly]. |

5. Don't you know my name (DO)? [Inj asked Tom swiftly]. |


Notes
1. "More" is a pronoun that functions as a Noun Used as an Adverb. Because it is a pronoun, it is modified by an adjective, in this case, "any."
