Unusual Prepositional Phrases Exercise #2

Directions: Place parentheses around each prepositional phrase. Draw an arrow from the beginning of each phrase to the word it modifies. 


 

1. Without catching a fish, fishing is not very much fun.

2. Lucy likes everything from playing baseball to taking pictures of games.

3. Rubie couldn't sleep since having had a nightmare.

4.  Arthur, without asking permission, went to the river to swim.

5.  Before going home, they played a game.
