Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) with many uses (3). It is contained (4 & 7) in a clay-like (6) ore (5) called Bauxite. Bauxite also contains several (8) other substances (9) that are extracted (10) through grinding (11). To do this, workmen put (12) the bauxite in a pressurized (13) tank. The other substances form a mass (14) which is then removed (15). They take the remaining substances and (1) filter (16) them until a liquid is extracted (17). After several other processes (18), a white (21) powdery (20) chemical (19) called alumina (22) is extracted. Alumina is a mixture (23) containing aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). These elements are seperated (26) using electricity (27) which produces a metal (28). The metal is light (29) with a silvery (32) bright (31) luster (30) that can come in many forms (33).
