Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1), which happens to come from (4) an ore (5) known as Bauxite. Bauxite also contains other substances (9). To extract (10) the other elements from the Bauxite workmen must go through several processes (1). First they must grind the Bauxite (11), and put (12) the substance into pressure (13) tanks. The other substances form a mass (14) which is removed (15) by filters (16). Only liquid remains (17) after the filtering process (2). The liquid is put through several more processes (18) before yeilding (19) a powdery (20) white (21) chemical, alumina (22). Alumina is a mixture (23) of aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). By using electricity (27) the aluminum and oxygen are seperated (26) which in turn (3) produces a light (29) metal (28). The metal has a bright (31) silvery (32) luster (30) and comes in many forms (33).
