Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many uses (3). It comes from (4) an ore (5) called bauxite. This material looks like clay (6), and contains many (8) substances (9), including aluminum (7). Workmen extract all other substances (10) by grinding (11) it, then place (12) it in a pressurized (13) tank. The other substances form a mass (14). They then remove (15) the mass, using filters (16), and are left with a liquid (17). Other processes take place (18), until it becomes a chemical (19). This powdery (20), white (21) chemical is a mixture (23) of aluminum (24) and oxygen (25), called alumina (22). Using electricity (27), workmen seperate (26) the aluminum from the oxygen, finally producing a metal (28). This is light-weight (29), and has a bright (31), silvery (32) luster (30). It comes in many forms (33), but any-way it comes (1) we call it aluminum (2).
