Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many uses (3). Aluminum comes from (4) a clay like (6) ore (5) called Bauxite. Aluminum also contains (1) several (8) other substances (9) that workmen extract from the Bauxite (10). To do this (1) the workmen grind (11) the Bauxite, then put (12) it in pressurized (13) tanks. In the tank the Bauxite (2) forms a mass (14), they remove (15) the mass with filters (16) so only a liquid is left (17). After that, they put it through several other processes (18), until it yeilds (19) a powdery (20) white (21) chemical call alumina (22). Alumina is a mixture (23) that contains aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). To produce the metal (2), workmen seperate the aluminum from the oxygen (26) using electricity (27). When the process is done aluminum is a bright (31) silvery (32) metal (28) that comes in many forms (33).
