Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) with many uses (3). It comes from Bauxite (4), an ore (5) that looks like clay (6). Bauxite also contains several (8) other substances (9) than aluminum (7). The other substances are extracted (10) by workers. The Bauxite is then grinded (11), put (12) into tanks, and pressurized (13). The other substances form a mass (14) which is removed (15) by filters (16) and leaves behind a liquid. (17) After several other processes (18), it finally yields (19) a powdery (20), white (21) chemical known as alumina (22). It is a mixture (23) of aluminum (24) and oxygen (25) which workers seperate (26) by means of electricity (27). A metal is now produced (28). It is light (29), has a silvery (32) bright (31) luster (30), and comes in many forms (33).
