     Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many uses (3). It comes from (4) an ore (5) known as bauxite which resembles clay (6) and contains aluminum (7) and several (8) other substances (9). The other substances are extracted (10) by workmen. The bauxite is then put (12) in pressurized (13) tanks. The other substances form a mass (14) which is removed (15) by use of filters (16). A liquid remain (17) is all that is left. After several other processes (18) it yields (19) a white (21), powdery (20) chemical called alumina (22).  It is a mixture (23) of aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). The workmen then use elec. (27) to separate (26) the oxygen from
