Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) which comes from bauxite (4) that has many uses (3). Bauxite looks like clay (6) and is a type of ore (5). Aluminum (7) along with several (8) other substances (9) are what make Bauxite. To make aluminum (1) workmen must extract these other substances from the Bauxite (10). The Bauxite is first grinded (11) and then placed (12) inside pressurized (13) tanks. The other substances form a mass (14) which is then removed (15) before being placed (1) into a filter (16). The liquidy remains (17) are then put through more processes (18) until it yields (19) a powdery (20) white (21) chemical, alumina (22). This substance is a mixture (23) of oxygen (25) and aliminum (24) which is seperated (26) by electricity (27). The final product (28) comes out lightweight (29), silvery (32), with a bright (31) luster (30). Aluminum comes in many different forms (33) this is just one (2).
