Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) with many uses (3) in the world (1). The metal originate (4) from Bauxite, an ore (5) substance that has a clay appearence (6). Bauxite contains aluminum (7) as well as other substances (9). Workmen grind (11) the Bauxite to seperate (10) the aluminum from the other elements. After grinding the Bauxite (2) it is put (12) into pressurized (13) tanks. When the other substances are put under pressure (3) they form a mass (14) that is filtered (16) out of the Bauxite (15). Several other processes (18) are done to the Bauxite to yield a chemical (19). This powdry (20), white (21) substance is called alumina (22), it is a mixture (23) of both aluminum (24) and oxygen (25). With the help of electricity (27) workers extract the oxygen from the alumina (26). The final product is a light (29), bright (31), and silvery (32) metal (28) used in many forms (33).
