Aluminum is an abundant (2) metal (1) that has many everyday (1) uses (3). Aluminum Comes from (4) an ore (5) called bauxite. Bauxite looks a lot (2) like clay (6) and it contains other substances (9) as well as aluminum (7). To get the aluminum (3), workmen grind (11) the bauxite. It is then put (12) into pressurized (13) tanks where certain substances form a mass (14). The mass is removed (15). The remaining liquid (17) is put through a few other processes (18) that result (19) in a powdery (20) white (21) chemical called alumina (22). Alumina contains oxygen (25) and aluminum (24). To separate the aluminum from the oxygen (26) electricity is used (27). A bright (31) lustery (30) silver (32) metal is produced (28). This common (4) metal comes in many forms (33) and can be used in many different ways (5).
