     Aluminum is an abundant metal with many uses. It comes from an ore called Bauxite. Bauxite contains aluminum along with several other substances. Workmen extract these other substances, grind the bauxite, and put it into tanks. The other substances form a mass, that is removed with filters. The remaining liquid is put through several other processes untill finally a chemical yieds. It is a white powdery substance called alumina. This mixture contains aluminum and oxygen. Work men separate the aluminum from the oxygen using electricity. They finally produce a light metal with luster. Its luster is bright and silvery. This metal comes in many forms.
