     Aluminum is an abundant metal that has many uses. Bauxite, an ore containing aluminum and several other substances, looks like clay. When refining aluminum, workmen extract the other substances from the bauxite. To do this they grind the bauxite and put it into pressurized tanks, the other substances form a mass. After they take out the mass of other substances and put what is left through several other processes, they finally come up with a white, powdery chemical called alumina. This mixture which contains aluminum and oxygen is then seperated by use of electricity, they are finally left
