1) How does the first line of the play establish a theme for the first
scene?
2) Explain the pun in Hamlet's "I am too much in the sun."
3) What is the purpose of Act I?
4) How does it fulfill that purpose?
5) What does the ghost tell Hamlet?
6)How does the act emphasize the conflict between appearance and reality?
Pay special attention to the following lines:
